the things that make me happy
they are random
but they still do
cold mac and cheese/cold pizza
sitting around a table with friends
when you first step outside into the cold/crisp morning air, that first moment
romance
the idea that gentlemen still exist in the world
people who stop you in town [...]
light and airy
sweet and delicious
rolls off your tongue
like magic
get a taste
get a bite
light the air
with warm sweet fire
kiss my lips
let me know
when it’s time
to explore
fight
away
this feeling
of wanting to sense
touch
of longing
for / of more
and i’m gooey caramel
melted
at your feet
the chocolate in your sticky smore
the sweet warmth
you wanted
but never counted on
the sensual bliss

there is this
tension
gnawing at my side
making me want to

mistreated
and not happy

in this part of the forest
